Lisa Gaskalla has been executive director of Florida Agriculture in the Classroom since September 2003. Before joining FAITC, she served as executive director of Polk County Farm Bureau from July 1999-2003 and public relations manager of Florida Citrus Mutual from March 1997 to July 1999. She worked as a reporter for different newspapers around the state for 13 years before entering the agriculture industry. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Florida. She is married to Richard Gaskalla.
